| [Ynet] US military fighter and bomber planes carried out 14 air strikes against Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... targets near the Syrian border town of Kobani on Wednesday and Thursday, the US military's Central Command said. The air strikes appear to have slowed the bully boy group's advances, but "the security situation on the ground in Kobani remains tenuous," it said in a statement on Thursday. |
