Vegetarians have much lower sperm counts |
2014-10-21 |
h/t Instapundit Vegetarians and vegans may be harming their chance of having children after a study found that men who do not eat meat have significantly reduced sperm counts. Although a diet that is rich in fruit and vegetables can protect against many illnesses and can prolong life, it appears that it may also harm fertility. he, he, he |

#11 Of course, there are three possibilities here: 1) Vegetarianism results in lower sperm counts and lower sperm mobility (not hard to believe) 2) Men with low testosterone are more likely to adopt a vegetarian way of life (also not hard to believe, at all) or even 3) People who are voluntary vegetarians also have other 'non mainstream habits', and it's those 'non mainstream habits' that reduce their sperm count (I don't have any problem believing that one either.) |

#10 Ever see the ones who waft frantically if the smell of meat comes by their table, as if everyone suddenly lit Davidoffs and blew that direction? They remind me of the glory days of Mike Tyson's Punch Out. I don't mind people self styling their lifestyle, I trust them to make their own decisions, just don't get preachy - or a queen; also have yet to see studies done on strict vegan pregnant women. |

#9 My son used to have a bumper sticker that said "Vegetarian - an Indian word meaning 'lousy hunter'". |

#8 Now we need an article that proves being vegetarians makes their d**ks small. |

#7 This is nature's way of saying you suck at hunting. No reproduction for you. |

#3 a study found that men who do not eat meat have significantly reduced sperm counts. Men were made to hunt and fish. Those who do not, defy the natural order and suffer the inevitable 'genetic drift' and reduction. |

#2 The revenge of the plants. In payment for the silent scream of the asparagus, they strike back thusly. |

#1 Well that is encouraging especially since most vegetarians and vegans are out on the fringes of the left. Sort of like abortion the left will gradually die out because they aren't reproducing. |
