| Public prosecutor abducted in Benghazi |

| [Libya Herald] The Libyan Judges Organisation (LJO) has condemned the kidnapping of a lawyer south of Benghazi. Abdul Nasser Al-Geroushi, an assistant attorney general and member of the LJO, was kidnapped by unknown gunnies on his way from his village to Benghazi late Sunday night. In a statement posted on their social media page, the organization called for the monitoring and documenting of, as well as the prosecution of, the ongoing abductions happening in Libya. They stated that abductions were a violation of human rights ...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless... and inconsistent with Islamic law and the values of a principled society. |
