| Kenyan Police Arrest 10 Suspected Attackers from Somalia |

[AnNahar] Kenyan police said Wednesday they had tossed in the calabooseBook 'im, Mahmoud! 10 suspected attackers, including two female jacket wallahs, who had crossed into the country from war-torn Somalia. "These 10 suspects were involved in recent terror attacks in Nairobi before they fled to Somalia, and now they have sneaked back," police spokeswoman Gatiria Mboroki told news hounds. She did not reveal the nationalities of those arrested or provide any other details. Kenya has been hit by a string of attacks in recent months blamed on Somalia's Al-Qaeda-linked Shabaab Lion of Islams. The Shabaab claimed they carried out the September 2013 attack on Nairobi's Westgate mall killing at least 67 people. The Islamists said the attack was a warning to Kenya to pull its troops out of southern Somalia, where they are fighting the holy warriors as part of an African Union ...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful... force. Ahmed Abdi Godane, the Shabaab chief who vowed to bring "rivers of blood" to Kenya, was killed in a U.S. air strike in October. |
