| Two US Islamic Groups, Including CAIR, Shocked to Find Themselves Designated As Terrorists |

| [CNSNEWS] Two Islamic groups in the U.S. that portray themselves as moderate and mainstream expressed shock to learn at the weekend that the United Arab Emirates had included them in a list of terrorist organizations. The Council on American-Islamic Relations ... the Moslem Brüderbund's American arm ... (CAIR ...designated a terrorist group by the UAE... ), which describes itself as "America's largest Moslem civil liberties and advocacy organization," and the Moslem American Society (MAS), which calls itself "a religious community service organization," were among more than 80 groups whose designation was approved by the UAE cabinet and announced on Saturday. Others listed included al-Qaeda and its various affiliates in Pakistain, Syria, Yemen and North Africa; the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... in Iraq and Syria (ISIS/ISIL); the Moslem Brüderbund and several of its U.K.- and Europe-based affiliates; and some Iranian-backed radical Shi'ite groups. Conspicuously absent was Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason,, despite being the Paleostinian branch of the Moslem Brüderbund (MB). Like most Arab states the UAE is a vocal supporter of the Paleostinian cause. Also not listed was Iran's Shi'ite proxy in Leb, Hezbollah ‐ a curious omission since Hezbollah-linked groups in the Gulf states and Iraq were included. |

| #5 Until things change in Washington, things will not change in the U.S. As you might recall CAIR was an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial in Texas which involved the funding of Hamas a designated terror organization. |

| #2 The Muslim American Society (MAS) has been called a front for the Ikhwan al-Muslimin from its inception to the present. The MAS was founded in 1992 by the leading Egyptian brother Muhammad Mahdi Akef who personally admitted to "other Ikhwanis" his ties to the Society. Since that time, MAS has served as a center for the dissemination of Ikhwan media and propaganda material. Until it recently became more circumspect its website provided some of the most explosive material found on an American internet website. Regarding Akef, once freed from an Egyptian prison in 1976 he assumed the role of leader of Egypt's Ikhwan al-Muslimun youth activity. He spent time in Germany in the mid-nineteen eighties and then traveled to the USA. Once in America he was responsible for the publication of the Ikhwan's "Political Pluralism" and "The Woman", both of which were widely distributed in mosques. In March 2004 Akef was named Murshid of the Muslim Brotherhood, succeeding the Egyptian Judge Mamoun el Hodeibi. |
