| US-Led Strikes Have Killed 910 People In Syria |

| [Ynet] Air strikes by US-led forces in Syria have killed 910 people, including 52 civilians, since the start of the campaign against Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... and other fighters two months ago, a group monitoring the conflict said on Saturday. The majority of the deaths, 785, were Islamic State fighters according to the Britannia-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Islamic State, a hard-line offshoot of al Qaeda, has seized land in Syria and neighbouring Iraq, where it has also been targeted by US-led strikes since July. |

| #7 That seems to be a very high kill ratio of fighters to civilians as reported by the media when the U.S. military is involved. It almost sounds legitimate and as if the media is reporting accurately without trying to dishearten us or undercut the effort. I guess a good thumb rule for future insurgencies would be: Don't behead western journalists or other allies. |
