| Couple gunned down in southern Thailand |

| [Bangkok Post] A man and his wife were gunned down in a gun attack in Yala province on Sunday. Witnesses said the couple were traveling on a motorcycle from Yaha district to sell vegetables in Khok Pho district of Pattani. They were followed by two men on another motorcycle. At Ban Chopunae, the two men shot them with pistols before speeding away. The couple were killed on the spot. |

| #1 Randomly killing vegetable vendors seems like it would only result in armed vegetable vendors. |
