Obama’s immigration taunt: Next president won’t dare reverse my executive action
2014-12-11
"O" Almighty does not understand that, although a bell cannot be un-rung, the sound will eventually dissipate.

#8  Top Cartel Bosses are relocating to Safe Houses in the US thanks to the hands off illegal immigration approach of the Obama regime to avoid certain death from rivals in Mexico. They are running their regimes in Mexico from the US.

#7  Got to wonder if President Biden would do it before the 2016 election to retain the office and keep his party from further damage?

#5  Looking at the Republican line up: Jeb, Christie, Romney, Santorum - I'd say Champ is right.

Maybe this time we can ignore the FUD and go with a real conservative?

#4  I hope you're right, Mystic - I'm tired of reading on Drudge 'Repubs Cave!!!' a single freaking month after voting for them.

If they fund a dime of amnesty stuff, I'm seriously thinking of sitting out a few elections, or just say 'fuck it' and be done with voting altogether. If they don't want to conduct themselves as a serious opposition party, I'm not obliged to keep voting in vain, waiting for it to happen.

#3  He did not issue an executive order under his signature.

He had an unsigned memo written for him sent to various departments of the Executive Branch to do it.

A memo is not a viable document. It contains no legal authority and because it was not under his signature, it can either be ignored or tossed in the trash after the first of the year.

Methinks this bogus budget agreement hammered out this week has a half life of the first time Congress convenes in January. Most of the odious stuff will be tossed in the trash when the actual authorizations are disapproved.

Congress can approve a budget which required a Presidential signature and can be vetoed. HOWEVER, the actual legislative action to FUND the various approved items in the budget does not and Congress can approve a budget item and disapprove funding it. Without Presidential approval or veto.

So while everyone says the Republicans caved to whatshisname, I am betting they just want to get to the part of the process where he can't do anything about it.
