Russia's government said the movie that set off the Sony hacking incident was so scandalous that North Korea's anger was "quite understandable." Foreign Ministry spokesman Aleksandr Lukashevich also said that the US failed to offer any proof to back its claims of Pyongyang's involvement in the hacking of "The Interview".North Korea has denied a role in the hacking, but also praised it as a "righteous deed."
Lukashevich told Thursday's briefing, "The concept of the movie is so aggressive and scandalous, that the reaction of the North Korean side, and not just it, is quite understandable."
