| #3 Carter was Navy and I respect his service for our country. He did understand some things, unlike our current WH resident(s). Most of our 19th and 20th century presidents (I said most) performed some sort of military service or came from strong military families. The rest respected the military until this guy came along. Then there's that little item that it was a WEDDING. Again, marriage and family have been respected by our previous leaders. My wife is a generous person and generally will not comment much on the foibles of others, but this particular action by the beloved leader caused a real 'rant', complete with words I've seldom heard her use. Folks here would be proud. |
