Pakistani boat blows self up after India navy chase: Indian defence ministry | |||||

[Dawn] NEW DELHI: The crew of an alleged Pak fishing boat blew up and sank their vessel after trying to evade capture at the hands of the Indian navy in a high-speed chase at sea, officials said Friday.
...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... are believed to have been killed in the dramatic episode in the Arabian Sea on New Year's Eve, India's defence ministry claims. Although the defence ministry would only say that the crew were planning ?some illicit transaction?, it also stated that the boat was carrying explosives. Indian media has played up the event, alleging that a terror threat was imminent from what Times of India has termed the "Pak Terror Boat". However, the hip bone's connected to the leg bone... links to terrorism have not been established or claimed.
The incident has evoked memories of the 2008 Mumbai attacks when Pakistain-based
Indian Coast Guard ships and aircraft tried to intercept the boat near the maritime border with Pakistain, around 365 kilometres from the coastal state of Gujarat ...where rioting seems to be a traditional passtime... , following an intelligence tip-off.
the hip bone's connected to the leg bone... the boat increased speed and tried to escape away from the Indian side of maritime boundary. The hot pursuit continued for nearly one hour,? a defence ministry statement added. Although the boat did eventually stop after warning shots were fired, the four-man crew then allegedly hid themselves below deck before setting the boat on fire which triggered a large kaboom.

#7 When zero time came the crewman turned to explain "Hajis, its too tough to flee them" Near Karaci bay their will started to fray "Fellos, its bin laden for us!" The captain wired in to explosives within and last thoughts churned in humans turned ferel And later that flight the ship blew out of sight came the wreck of the Achmed Fitzgereld Does anyone know where the love of allah goes when coasties turn jihadis to crab food The imams all say they'd have made Mumbai way Had they read 15 more suras that morning They might have blown up or they might have selfdowned But they did run fast for safe water All that remains is the feces and brains of the terrible smugglers of allah |

#6 It makes no sense that small time smugglers would blow up their boat instead of surrendering Just a conjecture, but perhaps the smugglers were trying to scuttle the boat by and somebody either mishandled an explosive device or created a spark in the process. Alcohol and diesel aren't exactly safe to be around. /loaded sentence |

#4 The Indian Express: Small-time liquor and diesel smugglers. No reason terror-bound jihadis couldn't catch a ride with professional smugglers. It makes no sense that small time smugglers would blow up their boat instead of surrendering, if that's all they were protecting. |
