#6  Al-Qaeda and jihadi groups worldwide are continuing to point to Hasan as a role model and the Fort Hood attack as a paradigm........... Al-Awlaki stated explicitly in the interview, "Nidal Hasan is a student of mine, and I am proud of this. I am proud that there are people like Nidal Hasan among my students. What he did was a heroic act, a wonderful operation. I ask Allah to make him steadfast, to protect him, and to free him. I support what he did, and I call upon anyone who calls himself a Muslim, and serves in the U.S. army, to follow in the footsteps of Nidal Hasan."

#4  A senior Yemeni intelligence source told Reuters that one of the Charlie Hebdo shooting suspects met Anwar al Awlaki, a leading preacher for al Qaeda, while visiting Yemen in 2011.

There's that name again. At the center of everything, possibly more so than bin Laden.

And yet there are many who object to his rocketing. He should have been captured and summarily executed while he was still in the US.

#3  Two separate situations; grocery at Port de Vincennes, Paris, where as many a five have been taken hostage. Report of two killed may be incorrect. Apparently two people, man and woman, possibly involved in shooting of policewoman yesterday.

Second at printing plant (likely did Hebdo) in Dammartin involving the two Hebdo killers. One has contacted the massive police force surrounding the plant, "You know very well who I am." One fellow walked in early in the event and actually shook the hand of the terrorist, thinking he was security. He was allowed to leave, because "We don't kill civilians." He was somewhat taken aback at that.
