| Somalia army clashed in Mogadishu |

| Somalia government Military forces have on Sunday exchanged a deadly gunfire near Tarabunka junction in Mogadishu, Somalia capital, over controlling military position, witnesses and officials said. The deadly battle erupted after Somalia military forces launched heavy assaults on a military position manned by fired official, who and his forces were managing the area but then were repulsed them from the base. A witness told Shabelle Media in Mogadishu by phone that intensive battle between Somalia military forces flared up near Tarabunka junction where other military soldiers based, adding that crossfire could wound number of people. The exact figures of casualties on both warring sides from military forces are yet to be established while military official were unavailable to reach on the phone for comments on the deadly battle that occurred in Mogadishu. The gun battle subsided on Sunday, with situation is calm and things have returned back to normal as locals have restarted to resume their daily activities near the battle zone in Mogadishu. |
