| Four foreigners rescued in Turbat |

| [DAWN] Four foreigners held hostage by drug smugglers were freed by police during a raid on a house in Turbat on Tuesday, officials said. Kech District Police Officer Imran Qureshi said the smugglers had kept the foreigners in the house in Satellite Town in connection with payment from some parties. The men rescued were identified as Mohammad from Tanzania and SLearned Elders of Islamn, Sam and Sultan Amin from Yemen. Paperwork was started but nothing else was done against the owner of the house, Ahmed Kingi. However, a person who gets all wrapped up in himself makes a mighty small package... no arrest was reported till late night. |
