| [MAGHAREBIA] Security officers in Tunisia now have the right to keep their weapon at all times, in order to fend off terrorist attacks. The interior ministry authorised the move on January 7th, soon after a Tunisian policeman was found in Zaghouan with his throat slit. The ministry set restrictions on arming agents. Those allowed to carry weapons must have a record of good behaviour, and no psychiatric disorders or family problems. |
