| Zliten court postpones murder trial for lack of witnesses |

| [Libya Herald] Complaining that no witnesses had turned up, the Zliten Criminal Court has postponed the trial of eight men accused of kidnapping and torturing Malik Hamir, during the 2011 Libya Revolution. "Da witnesses 're all dead!" The judges rescheduled the case for 17 March. Only three of the accused are in jug. `the remaining eight will be tried in absentia. Hamir was kidnapped from a mosque near his home in Zliten on 14 June 2011. It is alleged he was seized and then tortured by the defendants before they transferred him to Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... 's Yarmouk Prison. There Hamir perished in the notorious Yarmouk massacre that took place during the final days of the old regime. |
