Over 120 illegal Afghans deported

[DAWN] Over 120 Afghan nationals residing illegally in the district were deported to Afghanistan on Wednesday. They Afghan nationals had been tossed in the slammer

The detainees were presented before the court of civil judge and judicial magistrate Syed Hamid, who imposed Rs1,000 fine on each of them and ordered to deport them back to Afghanistan after completion of legal procedure.

Police said that these illegal Afghans were arrested from Akora Khattak, Azakhel, Marhati, Pabbi, Taru Jabba and others places in the district. They said that the detainees were put in the judicial lock-up for investigation and then deported after consultation with Afghan consulate in Beautiful Downtown Peshawar
