| #2 'Obama cannot do anything to Israel and to the alliance while the American public overwhelmingly supports Israel and agrees with Netanyahu's opinions.' He could share intelligence on Israel with e.g. Iran and he could refuse to veto a binding UN resolution imposing sanctions on Israel. Even an unlikely subsequent impeachment and conviction would not undo the damage. |
