| Security forces kill key aide to ISIS leader al-Baghdadi in Diyali |

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, "In the late hours of yesterday, Iraqi security forces clashed with elements of the ISIS group hiding at the heights of a valley, located 3 km north of Saddul-Azim in the district of Baqubah," pointing out that, "The army troops have managed to kill the top ISIS leader Abu Mu'mar al-Masri along with one of his aides." "Al-Masri is a key aide to the ISIS group leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in Salahuddin province," the source added. |
