| #2 Having to have an aircraft to take over after launch complicates the issue; and if the control aircraft is taken out then what happens to the missile???? |

| #1 Big shift was in the 90s when it was decided that "littoral" warfare would be the next big thing. Too bad the Chinese didn't sign off on it. |
