2015-02-23 |
[Military and Aerospace] NEWTOWN, Conn., 23 Feb. 2015. International demand for light wheeled military vehicles is set for explosive growth, fueled by the U.S. military Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) program and its associated vetronics, predict analysts at market researcher Forecast International in Newtown, Conn. The international light wheeled vehicle market will produce more than 36,000 units worth at least $30.9 billion through 2024 -- despite the ongoing worldwide economic crisis, Forecast International analysts predict. |

#4 ...As it turns out, I know one of the analysts at Forecast quite well. I had no previous knowledge that this report was coming out, but I've seen enough of their work to believe it. Mike |

#3 And what was it we learned about light armor in the presence of IED's? Go ahead an buy the sporty little run-abouts, but save some budget for MRAPs and tracked vehicles. |
