Claims and counter claims over crashed aircraft

[Libya Herald] Mystery surrounds reports that a Libyan jet fighter plane was shot down and crashed yesterday just near the border with Tunisia. The Tunisian news agency TAP has quoted an unnamed senior Tunisian security official saying that a plane belonging to Libya Dawn

, however, Libya Dawn has denied losing any aircraft. Also, a photo purporting to be of the burned-out aircraft does not look like an Aero L-39 Albatros. Indeed, it does not look like any aircraft belonging to Libyan air force.

The head of the air force Saqr Adam Geroushi said that he had not heard about the crash but would check on it.
