gang warfare in Jamshed Quarters during an 'encounter' in which two personnel of the paramilitary force and an Edhi Foundation volunteer were also maimed, the police and hospital officials said.

The paramilitary force conducted a targeted raid in Baloch Para, the Rangers spokesperson said.

On seeing the soldiers, the suspected gangsters resorted to firing upon which the troops returned fire and an encounter ensued in which three suspects were bumped off, said the spokesperson.

The other two were identified as Abdullah and Ghulam, alias Gullo, the Rangers official said.
