| Iraqi forces hammer ISIS bases near Baghdad |

| [RUDAW.NET] At least 89 murderous Moslems have been killed in a campaign to drive ISIS out of areas near Baghdad, the Iraq Ministry of Defense announced on Monday. "To clear up areas around Baghdad, Iraqi army launched a series of attacks on ISIS positions on Monday in al- Shortan, Hora, al- Qanatir, Ibrahim bin Ali, and Dijla areas," the Defense Ministry statement said. At least 14 ISIS armored vehicles have been destroyed, according to the statement, and Iraqi forces defused an estimated 14 planted mines and cleared at least 29 houses.
