| Explosion at west Tripoli checkpoint kills one, injures five |

| [Libya Herald] One coppers was killed and five were maimed after an bomb exploded at the Ghiran checkpoint in the western region of Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... this afternoon.. No one has grabbed credit for the kaboom, the news agency LANA reported. The attack on the checkpoint comes only 3 days after a bomb went kaboom!outside the cop shoppe in the central Tripoli district of Zawiet Al-Dahmani. That attack, which was claimed by IS, caused no deaths or injuries. There was damage to the cop shoppe and to cars. |
