| [DAWN] Horror and anger dominated protests across Pakistain on Monday, as members of the Christian community erupted into the streets in Faisalabad ...formerly known as Lyallpur, the third largest metropolis in Pakistain, the second largest in Punjab after Lahore. It is named after some Arab because the Paks didn't have anybody notable of their own to name it after... , Lahore, Gujranwala and other urban centers following Sunday's Taliban attack on two churches. The protests turned violent in Lahore when demonstrators clashed at different points during the day with dozens of baton-wielding coppers. One protester was killed while several were maimed when a car hit them at Ferozpur Road. |
