| Two policemen unharmed by roadside bomb in southern Thailand |

| [Bangkok Post] Two police officers narrowly escaped being harmed when a roadside bomb exploded shortly after their vehicle drove past in Narathiwat province on Saturday afternoon. The bomb was hidden under an anti-drug campaign billboard in Cho Airong district. Military patrols regularly use the road to provide protection for teachers. As soldiers were engaged elsewhere, the insurgents shifted their target to the police, authorities said. |
