[Libya Herald] A leading Tuareg commander in Obari is reported to have been killed in renewed fighting in the town between the pro-Libya Dawn
...aka Fajr Libya, the Islamist operation launched to counter that of General Khalifa Haftar (Operation Dignity). It is made up of the Libya Shield militia (Misrata and Moslem Brotherhood), Libya Revolutionaries Operations Room (Moslem Brotherhood), and Tripoli Brigade (close to Abdul Hakim Belhaj, head of Al-Watan party). Financing and moral support come from Turkey and Qatar...
Tuaregs and Tebu fighters loyal to the House of Representatives.

"We attacked the pro-Dawn Tuaregs this morning, in which their leader Idal Abubakr was killed, and some 10 others died," Tebu commander Yahya Imrbou, told the Libya Herald last night.

The Tebu troops launched their attack on the Tuareg fighters' downtown base early yesterday morning. They claim that in addition to Abubaker, who commanded the Tuareg Iseen Brigade, ten other Tuareg were killed.

They say that they forced the Tuaregs out of the camp and seized several vehicles during the lightning strike.

"The attack was sudden and unexpected. They [the Tuaregs] thought that we might attack the Tendi mountain [another Tuareg base], but we didn't. We attacked their barracks instead," Imrbou explained.

Some buildings in Obari are reported to be on fire and a number of civilians maimed in crossfire.
