Al-hashd al-Sha’bi denies its elements burned houses

Tribal fighters kill 3 suicide bombers in Salahuddin [IraqiNews.com] On Saturday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that the armed rustics killed 3 jacket wallahs as they attempted to sneak into the district of Biji. The source told IraqiNews, "This evening, armed rustics from the clans of al-Qessiseen have managed to kill 3 suicide bombers wearing improvised boom belts while attempted to sneak from the village of al-Mazra'a to the south of Biji, located in north of Tikrit; without mentioning any further details." Security forces kill 10 ISIS elements in south of Tikrit [IraqiNews.com] On Saturday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that ten elements of the ISIS group, including a senior ISIS leader, have been killed in festivities with the security forces in south of Tikrit. The source, who requested to remain anonymous, told IraqiNews, "Violent festivities between the security forces‒ backed by al-Hashed al-Sha'bi militia fighters‒ and the ISIS group Lions of Islam broke out in the area of al-Thurthar in southwest of Samarra, located 40 km south of Tikrit," pointing out that, "The festivities resulted in killing 10 elements of the group."
