An An Nahar article this morning quotes the German daily Bild, which reported that Mr. Lubitz suffered from anxiety and depression -- hidden from the airline -- severe enough that a police raid netted numerous doctor's work excuse notes, including one for the day of the crash. So it's all still a bit uncertain, though depression and anxiety do not preclude a religious conversion and jihad layered on top. |
