Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... group holy warriors in Ramadi, the capital of western Anbar. Anbar police Col. Mahadi Abbas says the forces recaptured the al-Houz bridge on the Euphrates river on Friday, after fierce festivities with ISIS holy warriors in the western section of Ramadi. Abbas says the al-Houz bridge was controlled by the ISIS group for several months and served as the main route supply for the Death Eaters. The security situation in Ramadi sharply deteriorated after the ISIS group seized three villages around the city, forcing thousands of civilians to flee their homes. In recent days Iraqi soldiers and police have been able to secure the center of Ramadi and push the holy warriors back from some areas of the city. |
