An Iraqi Spokeswoman for Iraqi Christians Finally Gets a Visa to Enter the U.S
2015-05-09
[National Review] Nina Shea reports that Sister Diana Momeka has now been granted a visa to enter the United States. A leading spokeswoman for persecuted Iraqi Christians, Sister Diana is expected to testify before a House Foreign Affairs subcommittee. Other details of her itinerary have not yet been set. Last week, American advocates for Middle Eastern Christians loudly objected when they learned that the U.S. consulate in Erbil had denied her visa application for reasons that did not add up.
Sunshine is the best disinfectant. Well done, all!
She had been invited to testify before congressional hearings in both the House and the Senate and had arranged to meet with representatives of several NGOs in the United States.

Would she be harassed by our ever-so-Christian president? Say it ain't so!
