| 2 dead, 4 injured in an attack near Somalia-Kenya border |

| [ShabelleNews] Hamey, Kenya-At least 2 people are known to have been killed and 4 more others were maimed in an attack on North-east Kenya town lies 30 Km about Somalia border, politician and residents said. The killed 2 people were said to be a gunman and Kenyan soldiers who were dead during heavy exchanges of gunfire between Kenyan army and gunnies armed with heavy and slight weaponries. Hassan Mohammed, Somalia's former Dhobley district commissioner, told Shabelle Media in Mogadishu that 2 had been killed and 4 more injured, adding that the gunnies fled from the area.
