2015-05-23 |
[BLOG.CHRON] A shootout in Mexico that left 40 people dead occurred Friday in Michoacan state, in an area believed to be controlled by the Jalisco New Generation narco mob. Cartels in Latin America have become more violent in the last few years with groups responsible for mass slaughters of rivals and vicious attacks on entire cities. According to a report, the Jalisco New Generation narco mob "has launched bushwhackes against police this year in Jalisco state, but the identity or criminal affiliation of the armed civilians in Friday's clash was not immediately known." |
