| Businessman's nephew killed in IED blast |

| [DAWN] Political administration officials and local residents said unknown gunnies attacked house of Haji Bughdad Shah in Durbakhel area of Haleemzai tehsil late on Sunday night resulting in serious injuries to his nephew, Jamil Khan. They said the injured succumbed while being taken to hospital. The attackers managed to escape. It was the second attack on house of Bughdad Shah, a renowned businessman of marble. Earlier hand grenades were hurled on his residence, but the inmates remained unhurt. Sources said he had received threatening letters from extortionists. After the incident the security forces, levies and Khassadar personnel conducted a joint search operation in the area to arrest the attackers. During the search, an IED blast took place, but the law-enforcers remained unhurt. The security forces locked away Book 'im, Mahmoud! 17 persons under collective responsibility clause of the FCR during the search.
