Regime asserts dominion over creeks, streams, wetlands, ditches ‐ even big puddles
2015-05-28
[Wash Times] President Obama's administration on Wednesday claimed dominion over all of America's streams, creeks, rills, ditches, brooks, rivulets, burns, tributaries, criks, wetlands -- perhaps even puddles -- in a sweeping move to assert unilateral federal authority.

The Environmental Protection Agency
, along with the Army Corps of Engineers, says it has the authority to control all waterways within the United States -- and will exercise that authority.

#9  OS, the takings clause started crumbling when civil forfeiture was created. It collapsed when the Supreme Court ruled that a city could condemn private property to build some other "better" property.

#5  Given Obumble's track record with things like this in the courts, this won't last long.

#3  I think everyone who is in a flooded region, or Hurricane struck region (think Katrina) should now file suit against the EPA for not controlling 'their' waterways.

Start filing negligent homicide charges against EPA officials when people drown in rivers, creeks, lakes, etc... (if only we could...)

With authority comes responsibility. (Why do I get the feeling that rule does not apply here?)
