Musa Gardi, commander of the Halgurd command, said. "Because of the fire, many mines and booby traps planted by ISIS, who were fearing our every advance, detonated by themselves," he added. Gardi said the Peshmerga did suffer any casualties. In earlier festivities on the Bashik front, ISIS faceless myrmidons were repulsed in a fierce assault early April on Peshmerga stockades. |
