Britain's fattest man dies
2015-06-23
[NATION.PK] A 33-year-old man who had been labelled as "Britannia's fattest man" has died at his home in Kent.
If you've forgotten, one stone=14 pounds.
Carl Thompson weighed 65 stone and made headlines earlier this year when he was interviewed about his issues with food and his rapid weight gain.
65 stone=910 pounds, or not quite half a non-metric ton.
The police, ambulances and fire crews all attended his flat in Dofras Place, Dover on Sunday. Neighbour Ronald Williams told it took several hours for emergency crews to remove Thompson's body.
I'll bet it took two black SUVs to haul him away.
A Kent Police front man said: "Kent Police was called at 10:38am on 21 June, to a property in Dofras Place, Dover following reports that a man in his 30s had died. "Officers do not believe the death to be suspicious. "The coroner will be notified."
"Hmmm... No sign of an exit wound, Sam... No sign of an entry wound, either... And he weighed about as much as 65 rocks in a pile... I suspect it was the Twinkies. What do you think, Sam?"
"But what's the red stain there on his second through fifth chins, Doc?"
"Strawberry ice cream! By Gum, you're right, Sam! It wasn't just the Twinkies!"

Thompson told ITV's This Morning that he had been unable to leave his house for 12 months and could not wear any clothes, when he was interviewed earlier this year.
So the pizza guy saw acres of everything, huh?
He had spoken openly of his issues with binge eating and that doctors had told him to lose 45 stone or risk death.
"You gotta drop 630 pounds, bub."
"How much is that in stone, Doc?"
"45 stone."
"But why, Doc?"
"Because a stone is 14 pounds."
"No, why do I have to lose it?"
"Because in another month at the rate you're packin' it on you'll outweigh a Subaru."

Thompson had been inundated with support following his media appearances with pledges of help from the public to get to his ideal weight of 20 stone, including a local grandmother who had started cooking Thompson weekly batches of healthy meals.
"Gosh, thanks, Granny! Do you know how to make Twinkies?"
"Sorry, sonny. But how about some nice homemade strawberry ice cream?"

#3  Yes, BP. In every case like this there has to be an enabler.

#1  Erm, Somehow he managed to afford 10000+calories a day while claiming benefits....

In fact his NHS "carers" fed him to death.

Vile.
