| Obama tells Americans to start listening to Muslims |

[DAWN] US President Barack ObamaI am the change that you seek... has urged anti-Islam demonstrators in the United States to "stop yelling and start listening", telling them that they would find Moslems peaceful and welcoming if they reached out to them. He read out a message of peace at an iftar-dinner he hosted at the White House on Monday, noting that more than 1.5 billion people around the world observed Ramazan as "a time of spiritual renewal and a reminder of one's duty to our fellow man". He recalled that when three young Moslem Americans were brutally murdered in Chapel Hill, South Carolina, earlier this year, Americans of all faiths rallied around that community. He noted that in the same state last week a white supremacist murdered nine African Americans at a church in Charleston. "As Americans, we insist that nobody should be targeted because of who they are, or what they look like, who they love, how they worship. We stand united against these hateful acts." |

| #11 I never heard of Ramazan. Is it the same as Ramadam or is it different? But I know one thing: The more I listen to Baraq, the more I understand how full of shit he is. It gets so painful after a while that I just can't listen anymore. |

| #4 I agree. Who were the first Free French and Resistants? About one third came from the military of course (fighting the enemy was their job), then there were the sailors of the Ismland of Sein, an island so dangerous to live in and navigate in its waters you need to have BIIIG balls and... those few who had read Mein Kampf and undesrtood there could no settlement with Hitler, that he didn't want Alsace-Lorraine but destroy FRance once and for all. So I agree, Americans should learn about Islam. |
