#2  Shipman, you omitted from your list of most overwhelming designs the USS Enterprise, CVN-65. Alas, she can never become a museum.

#1  Screw it. I am off for a week. Bring i. The Buffs three by three and blow those fuckers into the Galilee, yes I am talking arclight city, the McCoy, the real deal, BDA done by Old Patriot in person escorted by a fleet of (yep) armored F-150s.

I forget the other words Iowa? DeMoines? SCUD?

Good news! In researching this in depth comment I find that the Des Moines class cruiser Salem is a muSeem ship at Quincy Ma. One of three of the class completed, in many respects the most overwhelming design of any ship this side of HMS Dreadnaught or USS Constitution.

/sorry OT, must go go Quincy MA.
