| [Ynet] The French foreign ministry has set up a hotline which families can call to report a child having become a radicalized islamist; more than 2,200 youths have been reported thus far. Mary's fingers hesitated above the telephone keypad for a long time. "Damn, this is whistleblowing!" In the end she dialed the hotline to report to the French intelligence services that her granddaughter Lea had become a radicalized islamist. Seated at a table in the back of a bistro in Gay Paree, this 75 year old woman testified of her decision to call the authorities. |
