2015-07-14 |
[Tolo News] At least 27 civilians including women and kiddies were killed Sunday evening in a deadly suicide kaboom in eastern Khost, near a military base formerly used by CIA, officials said. About 17 other civilians were maimed the bombing, local officials added. The incident happened justs days before Eid when a jacket wallah detonated an explosives-laden vehicle in a crowded area, close to Chapman base, Provincial Police Chief, Faizullah Ghairat said. The base was named after a slain U.S. Soldier, Chapman, who was killed in the Afghan war. At least seven CIA employees and a Jordanian intelligence officer were killed in an attack on the base, claimed by Pak Taliban, in 2009. However, Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried... no group including the Taliban has so far grabbed credit for Khost bombing. |
