| Abu Sayyaf leader killed in Sulu clash |

| [InterAksyon] An Abu Sayyaf sub-leader, long sought on charges of kidnapping and murder, was killed by government troops in Indanan, Sulu Wednesday afternoon. Killed in the clash with Joint Task Group Sulu was Mahmur Jupuri, alias "Mahmur". Jupuri is known to have been involved in the kidnapping of a Malaysian couple in Sandakan, Malaysia on May 14. |
