White House says Turkey has right to defend against Kurds |
2015-07-27 |
[RUDAW.NET] The White House says ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... has the right to defend itself against terrorist attacks by Kurdish rebels. Turkey has started striking Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... krazed killers, which helps the US-led coalition, but also began attacking Kurds. The US has been relying on Kurds associated with the Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, to make progress against ISIS. White House front man Alistair Baskey is strongly condemning recent terrorist attacks by the PKK, which the US has designated a terrorist group. He's also pointing out that Turkey is a NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A cautionary tale of cost-benefit analysis.... ally of the U.S. |

#5 Just as OS said, the "war" against ISIS was a cover for striking the Kurds. And Obumble supports it. Our one natural ally in the region continues to be fucked over by the world. |
