The State GOP Wave
2015-08-02
[CityJournal] Republican governors and local lawmakers push back against Obama-era progressivism with an array of pro-growth policies.
In pondering the state of the Republican party as we meander toward the next presidentil election, I found this typically long and thorough City Journal article very comforting. I could wish to read something comfortng about the Democratic party, but I have no expectations in that direction.

#2  And yet, Obama has had more success promulgating his policies and solidifying his gains than at any time since the passage of Obamacare.

At this rate, any more Republican officeholders, and we'll all be living on kolkhozy or working on the White Sea Canal.

#1  Get 3/4 of the state governments and you can not only call a Constitutional Convention, you can control it, and take home amendments you can subsequently pass regardless of the Big City controlled states.
