| 23 BNP men charge-sheeted over Magura bomb attack |

| [Dhaka Tribune] Police submitted a charge sheet against 23 BNP and Chhatra Dal men yesterday in connection with a case of petrol kaboom in Magura on March 21. Imaul Hoque, DB police inspector and investigation officer of the case, said the charge sheet was submitted accusing 23 persons including Chhatra Dal central committee president Rajib Hasan , its general secretary Ekramul Hoque , Magura district unit BNP general secretary Ali Ahmed Biswas and vice president Monoar Hossen Khan. During the blockade on March 21, miscreants hurled petrol bomb at a sand laden truck in Moghi area on the Magura --Jessore Road injuring nine persons . Later, they were admitted to Magura Sadar Hospital at death's door from where they were sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. Five persons succumbed their injuries in the hospital. On March 22, SI Abdush Salam filed a case with Magura cop shoppe accusing 22 persons. After investigation, the police submitted charge sheet accusing the 23 persons. |
