Home to continuous fighting from 1992 to 1996 between the forces of would-be strongman and Pak ISI/Jamaat-e-Islami sock puppet Gulbuddin Hekmayar and the Northern Alliance, a period which won Hek the title Most Evil Man in the World and didn't do much for the reputations of the Northern Alliance guys either....

(NDS) is believed to have been imprisoned in Pul-eCharkhi Prison under a false name for two years.

Documents uncovered by TOLOnews reveal that Israr Ahmad, an myrmidon leader, was sentenced to six years in prison in 2012 after being found to be in possession of explosives and boom jackets. He was however pardoned by former president Hamid Maybe I'll join the Taliban Karzai
... A former Baltimore restaurateur, now 12th and current President of Afghanistan, displacing the legitimate president Rabbani in December 2004. He was installed as the dominant political figure after the removal of the Taliban regime in late 2001 in a vain attempt to put a Pashtun face on the successor state to the Taliban. After the 2004 presidential election, he was declared president regardless of what the actual vote count was. He won a second, even more dubious, five-year-term after the 2009 presidential election. last year and freed.

"I was recruited by the Taliban group four years ago through my cousin who was famous as Almas. Then I was arrested with explosives and boom jackets and I was sentenced to six years in prison," said Israr Ahmad.

"I spent two years and two months in Pul-e-Charkhi Prison and then I was released."

TOLOnews news hound, Tamim Hamid who visited Pul-e-Charkhi Prison, checked the list of names of prisoners over the past few years. He was not able to find Israr Ahmad's name but did find the fake name he was supposedly registered under.

According to the news hound, they found his name by searching for Ahmad's father's name and other details.

Prison officials also confirmed that Ahmad was released following a decree by Karzai, which he issued during his last days in office.

"Israr Ahmad aka Naeem or Qudratullah. Who is he and how could he beguile security forces by using two or three names? How was he included in the presidential decree in pardoning prisoners?" asked Rafiullah Bidar Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission front man.

"We want a complete justice process in this regard. The decision should be made justly in order to safeguard citizen's rights," he said.

No doubt a transfer of funds from Islamabad to an account in Geneva played a large part.
