Greek Police Find Large Weapons Stash on Libya-Bound Ship |
2015-09-02 |
[AnNahar] A large weapons stash was discovered Tuesday on a fat merchantman off the Greek island of Crete, a police source said, with initial information suggesting it sailed from ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... and was headed for Libya. Greek port police boarded the Haddad 1 and found shotguns in a shipping container, although no details were given on the other weapons found. The Bolivian-flagged ship had a seven-strong crew of Syrians and Egyptians. The boat was seized off Ierapetra on Crete's southern coast because it was not carrying the correct papers for its cargo, the police source said. The boat was being towed to another port on the island for further investigation. |

#4 Greece is being somebody's friend. They, in turn, will help Greece regain some stature with operations like this. Perhaps the Leviathan gas field has something to do with it. |

#2 Arms from Erdogan, Turkey's Muslim Brother, to the Brotherhood actives in eastern Libya. The Erdogan-Obama cabal forget to tell Greece what they are up to. |
