Five Civilians Injured in Samangan Blast |

[Tolo News] At least five civilians were maimed in a blast in northern Samangan province on Sunday morning, local officials said. The incident took place in Aibak, the capital of the province, after explosives were placed in a cycle of violence. Five people were maimed when the explosives were detonated, provincial police chief Mohammad Baqir said. "A woman and the finical head of the provincial Independent Election Commission department are among the injured people," he said. Police have started investigations into the incident and the injured people were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to officials. |
