An easy assumption to make, though. One of the 21st century's defining characteristics is that you can no longer distinguish goofy stuff somebody made up from goofy stuff that is actually happening.

Time to do a little house cleaning at the U.S. Army Institute of Heraldry. I seem to remember many years ago, a beret flash being rejected for having two parallel lightening bolts. How times they have changed.
